The Oklahoma Public Health Association believes that public health students and professionals across the state must unite across our various agencies, sectors, and institutions to create better population health outcomes for all Oklahomans. Therefore, we have chosen Building Common Ground in Public Health as our 2024 Conference theme! Please join us in November to build common ground among Oklahoma's public health community and learn from one another about ongoing research, strategies, and practices for public health improvement, protection, and service across the state.

OPHA is fostering connections with Oklahoma's public health programs and colleges across the state. Part of this a new initiative is to partner with universities for our annual conferences! This year, OPHA is proud to be hosted by Northeastern State University Broken Arrow! Conference activities will be held in the Administration and Education buildings, connected by a sky bridge. OPHA's 2024 Conference: Building Common Ground in Public Health call for abstracts reopened Monday, July 22nd! Due to acceptance and scheduled programming from the first round of abstracts, oral presentation space is now very limited. We strongly encourage submitting Oklahoma-based public health research, practice, and student thesis/capstone projects for our poster sessions. Please submit using this form!
