Join the OPHA Emergency Preparedness and Response Section for their monthly meeting with guest presenter Chevy Bullington- Condon, Emergency Preparedness & Response Program Coordinator with the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board.

Chevy Bullington- Condon graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Native American Studies and minor degree in Environmental Studies. She started her career at Southern Plains Tribal Health Board in January 2021 as a COVID-19 Case Investigator in contract with Indian Health Services. As COVID-19 cases began winding down and the Public Health Emergency Declaration ended, her role shifted into emergency preparedness and response in Indian Country. Chevy recently accepted an internal position as Emergency Preparedness & Response Program Coordinator. She looks forward to expanding and strengthening partnerships across the local, state, tribal, and federal level; and building and strengthening emergency preparedness and response capacities for tribes, tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations.

Chevy and her husband Jordan, recently married in 2022 and have adopted a Siberian Husky who recently celebrated her 5th birthday and keeps them both busy and active outside of work
