Join the OPHA Emergency Preparedness and Response Section for their monthly meeting. This month's meeting will feature guest speaker Tracey Bender. Tracey originally started with the Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security 12 years ago, she has been in almost every division of the agency from being State Operations Chief, State Exercise Officer, Field Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, and now as the Community Preparedness and Public Outreach Manager. She looks forward to continuing her relationships with the locals, the tribes, the state, public and private partners to make Oklahoma resilient through CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Trainings, Preparedness Presentations, and literature, along with Preparedness Camps for high-school students, partnering with Oklahoma Universities. Tracey and her husband, Leroy, have 6 grown children between them, 15 grandchildren and a country gospel music ministry that keeps them very busy when she isn’t working.
