Incorporating a Healthy Lifestyle Program into the Staged Approach to Treatment of Childhood Obesity
Sara will discuss a community-based nutrition and physical activity program for youth.
Sara Malone, MS, RD/LD, is the Community Outreach dietitian for the OSU Family Health and Nutrition Clinic. She is the program coordinator for Cowboys Get Healthy, Get Fit, a community based healthy lifestyles program for children and teens with overweight and obesity. Sara is a member of the hub team for the Project ECHO OSU Pediatric Obesity Medicine teleECHO clinic. In addition, Sara participates on committees both locally and at the state level in collaborative efforts to facilitate policy changes that positively impact prevention and treatment of childhood obesity in Oklahoma.
